BACKGROUND
Born in a family of six to a teacher, I grew up practicing elementary agriculture and attending school near home. Until 6 years later when our dad died and everything changed. But through a series of bursaries from the schools I attended was able to make it to university. I am glad that Help to Help has granted me a chance to progress with my studies.
WHY
I love and very much enjoy seeing people healthy and having maximum function of their body parts, even when disabled by injury or disease. I believe that as long as the appropriate rehabilitation is given, disability is not inability. I envision myself being the best physiotherapist I ever met. I see myself working patiently through sessions with patients to see them regain function of their body parts. I see myself restoring hope!
INTERESTS
I enjoy playing and watching volleyball and since I have been enrolled on my school team. I usually spend my free time training. However I do needlework as well. Plus I read other non academic books, like those about financial intelligence.

As a changemaker, I visited a babies home in Mbarara and interacted with the children. While using my recently acquired knowledge on how to interact effectively with people of different age groups, I discovered that these children have great dreams, ambitions and hopes. I advised them to stay disciplined, seek God and do their best. I also carried along a few basic needs like soap that help in taking care of them. In the photo, I was at the Mbarara university main pitch during an exercise science lecture, learning how to rehabilitate patients using gym ball exercises to attain function to as near normal as possible.
