BACKGROUND
I am a student coming from a big family with nine siblings. My parents are both peasants. I was able to complete my previous education with the help of sponsorship opportunities from the Hizmet organisation.
WHY
I chose my field of study because, firstly pharmacy is a rewarding career with opportunities for patient care, scientific research and innovation. It will also help me boost my self-awareness, self-esteem and I will be able to maintain my humanity. Patient counselling inspired me when choosing my field of study, since I get many opportunities in counselling area. I will contribute to the society through my future profession by providing education all about pharmacy academically, for instance in university, for the coming generation. I will also contribute by building different community pharmacies in the future, when I am financially stable - ensuring all customer demands are satisfied and a rational dispense of drugs is applied. I want to become a clinical pharmacist. I want to go around to hospitals and do take care my patients. I also want to dispense drugs and perform patient counselling.
INTERESTS
In my free time, I like taking photos, eating healthy foods, and I also love listening to music.

This semester, I expect to volunteer in the pharmacy practice field in my free time to increase my knowledge. In the photo, I was at the hospital doing my field practice of pharmacy, which involved dispensing of medication, attending to clients who needed my service and prescriptions and giving counselling to my clients who needed counselling, such as HIV patients.

I had conducted a community outreach by volunteering in a medical outreach for treatment of malaria. 1. I had aimed to create awareness on how to protect oneself from being infected with malaria. 2. I had impact my community well by ensuring they comply well with full balanced diet so as to avoid malnutrition from occurring. 3. I as a future pharmacist had also volunteer and participate in the community pharmacy by dispensing medications and ensuring my patients had understood well the instructions on how to use the medication and that they comply well with their medications. 4. I had also stayed at the giveaway tent giving the patients good words , advice and the care they needed. 5. I had also done the physical marshaling by measuring the body mass index and determining the patients weight and educating them. In the photo, I was learning how milk is produced. I learnt the whole process of pasteurisation.
