BACKGROUND
I am from a humble family of 12 people. I have 10 siblings and both my father and mother are peasant farmers from Rukandagye Bugamba Rwampara. Most of my school fees is paid by my family relatives. I studied from mbarara municipal school then went to maryhill high school and currently I am enrolled at Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
WHY Engineering & Natural Science
Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda and most of the people derive their livelihoods from it. Being an agro social economist, I believe I will be able to encourage farmers and train them with the better methods of farming so they can improve on their living standards and reduce dependency syndrome as we transform Uganda from a low income country to a middle income country through agriculture. I want to become a plant doctor under the ministry of agriculture, animal industry and fisheries.I believe that with the knowledge and skills obtained after my graduation i will be able to reach out to farmers to solve the problem of increased pests and diseases in crops and be able to transform subsistence farming to commercial farming in Uganda.
INTERESTS
I like making new friends and watching inspirational movies.

I am planning for and looking for scholarship opportunities for pursuing my master's. Currently, I'm volunteering at an agricultural site as a manager. With the support from Help to Help, I have been able to pursue and finish my dream career of which I am now a practicing agriculturalist. More so, my leadership skills has been developed throughout the scholarship program as a publicity secretary. Through the volunteering I've also been pursuing, I have been able to train farmers and students in making fertilisers meant for improved agricultural production. I've taught them about better farming techniques and the adaptation to climate change.
