BACKGROUND
My name is Nahwera Mackline, and I am pursuing a bachelors degree of petroleum engineering and environmental management at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. I come from Ibanda, in south western Uganda, from of a family of seven members. I grew up in Ibanda where I attended both my primary and secondary levels of education. Through out all the studies, my fees have been funded due to a combined effort of the parents, relatives and schools itself. My parents are peasant farmers, and through farming, plus with the help of other relatives ,they have tried to push me up to this level in education. I will always be thankful to them and all our relatives.
WHY
I chose my field of studies because since childhood, I have had a passion to become a petroleum engineer. I would love to become a production engineer.
INTERESTS
During my free time, I love to deepen my knowledge about the computer. I normally go to the computer lab and learn some new things about the usage of the computer. This has helped to get more knowledge about usage of different applications programs like MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, and MS-Power Point. At times, I also attend university-organized fellowships and Bible studies.
