BACKGROUND
My first education was supported by my uncle as he was digging maize to pay for my fees. I do not know what my family looks like since they left me alone when I was young. I do not know my parents' occupation. In my previous education I was supported by my uncle.
WHY
I was inspired to choose to study clinical medicine because I want to help the community by giving different education about health issues. I chose this faculty since I want to prevent the mortality and morbidity rate of mothers and children. I chose this faculty because I want to fullfill my dream. My dream is to become a surgeon in order to support the community about health issues and to support patients with disorders example people with mental retardation and general body deformities.
INTERESTS
In my free time I like to go to the health centres to treat patients. I like to pass several wards at the health centre in order to know the development of patients' health and to stay with my fellow students in order to make a discussion about different subjects.

In this first semester, I wish to go to different health centres to seek volunteering activities. When I get this chance I will use it effectively to show my knowledge in order to increase my chances to get future employment. This picture was taken when I was in field practice. That picture was taken on a Monday when I was very happy. I took this picture to remember this day during tough times with medical studies.

A: Maiko Gwivaha has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Maiko Gwivaha . Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
