BACKGROUND
I am a Tanzanian girl who was born in 27/04/1992 at Arumeru district in Arusha region. In my life I never got the chance to live with my biological mother. When I was three years old my parents got divorced and I lived with my father and different step-mothers who really mistreated me. I have faced a lot of big challenges in my life especially in my education. My father could not pay for my school fees because he has too many children that depend on his salary. I have failed to do many exams because I could not pay my school fees. However, the headmistress at the university decided to forgive me because the end of year exams were approaching. I thank God she allowed me to sit my final exams and that I passed. However, before I was awarded the Help to Help scholarship the situation was still bad because even though I could attend the classes and do the exams, I still could not get my results or the certificates which are necessary when applying for jobs in the future. My mother is a housemaid and she is living alone with my young sister from another father. She could not help me pay my school fees because her salary is very low and she has nobody else to depend on.
WHY Medicine & Health
My dream job is to be a radiologist but my ambition is to be a leader. I am so eager to help people with problems. Being a radiologist, I know I will meet people who are having health problems and that I can manage to help them.
INTERESTS
In my spare time I always read things concerning my profession, but I also read books on leadership, fashion and beauty. I like playing netball and singing. I am a kind person, quite charming, humble, tolerant and helpful.
