BACKGROUND
My name is Marki Habibu, I am 27 years old, and I am born from two parents who both are peasant by occupation, at Ushokoravillage, in Kaliua district, in the Tabora region. I grew up in family of six children, and studied my primary education at Kaliua primary school, my secondary education at st Vincent de Paul II secondary school under catholic church's financial support, and then my advanced education at Bwiru boys technical secondary school under family support. I previously failed to join Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Science for the bachelor degree program due to financial challenges in 2014, and in 2019 I was selected to join University of Dodoma (udom) to undertake bachelor degree in doctor of medicine, but I postponed the studies from 2019/2020 academic year to 2020/2021 due to the same reason.
WHY
I was inspired to choose my field of education by increased mortality rate of infants and mothers, and my will to treat people with special needs like HIV/AIDS in rural areas, in which there is an inadequate supply of medical doctors. My dream job is to become a doctor of medicine that will enable me to examine, diagnose, treat and prevent health related challenges in the community.
INTERESTS
I do like teaching, researching and watching football in my free time.
