BACKGROUND
I was born in 1991 in Arusha town in Northern Tanzania close to both Serengeti and Kilimanjaro. I am the second born out of three children. My parents got separated in 2007 and since then I have been living with my mother who has been the one funding me with my school fees and school materials. Unfortunately she recently became ill and her right hand is deformed making her un able to work. In my seventh and last year of primary school I was facing a real challenge. I was not allowed to stay in school and the final national examinations where approaching. I had to stay at home but the very last minute I was helped by the owner of the school and I could sit the final examinations. I learnt that there is always a way and a solution to every problem that faces you. Also I feel everything happens for a reason. During my first four years of secondary school I was the prefect of health at our school and the following two years I was the prefect of production. I was working really hard to lead my fellow students as well as managing my studies. After finishing secondary school, I volunteered to work with an HIV/AIDS organisation called Support for International Change, providing education in different villages and also helping people to get tested. I am proud of being of help for my society and of the work I did. Currently I am taking a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Engineering at St. Joseph University in Tanzania. The reason I chose this course was to bring development in my country. When I have been working out in the different villages in Tanzania I have discovered that an agricultural revolution is what will help almost every member of society if we empower people and get them to participate effectively. I think this course will enable me to do that since in the future I will be able to employ both skilled and unskilled labour so that they can all earn an income and manage their living. I like playing volley ball, visiting friends and making new ones. I am an ambitious, hardworking and understanding person. I never like to hurt anyone and try to help where I can.

A: Martin Anthony has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Martin Anthony . A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
