BACKGROUND
I was born in a family of seven with my father, my mother, and my siblings. My father were involved in an accident, and was staying at a hospital for almost a year, and later passed away. With time, my mother passed on as well, due to depression and frustration since she had no way of supporting us. My academics were halted as I was struggling to pay the fees, and my grand parents hustled to raise the money and fortunately I was able to get a guardian who also got other responsibilities.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
I chose biomedical engineering, because I was interested in the process of innovating cheaper equipment, which can be easily accessed by Ugandans. Most of the equipment in Uganda is expensive, which makes hospital bills for most Ugandan individuals in villages expensive. My dream job is mainly within innovation and machine learning. This involves carrying out research targeted at different challenges faced by most people in mainly poor villages, that cannot afford hospital facilities. I would also like to come up with new inventions, for example apps that pregnant mothers can use to train them on maternity nutrition.
INTERESTS
I play volleyball, do some jogging and also Christian fellowshipping.
