BACKGROUND
I come from a family of eight children and two parents. My parents' occupation is agricultural activities of growing and selling crops. I spent all my primary education years around my family home. I then went to Maua seminary for middle school or ordinary-level secondary education in Kilimanjaro. I did my advanced level secondary education in Morogoro and currently, I am studying at the University of Dar es salaam taking a Bachelor of Science in Molecular biology and Biotechnology.
WHY
With the knowledge of molecular biology and biotechnology, I can develop and improve drugs, vaccines, therapies and diagnostic tests that will improve human and animal health. Therefore I chose this field of study because it is attached to the desires of my dream job which is to improve the health of everyone around me. Also, I chose this field because I enjoy learning and doing science in my life. My dream job is to become a scientist in a medical laboratory, experimenting and learning about disease-causing micro-organisms and finding out ways to cure them. Also studying the world's neglected diseases caused by microorganisms that most people don't put into much consideration, to make the world aware of them and their effects on human beings.
INTERESTS
In my free time, I like playing football and basketball. I also like drawing during my free time. I like reading novels and learning French to improve my communication skills. I also prefer taking time to meditate on how my life is going on and remind myself of the responsibilities I have in my life.
