BACKGROUND
I grew up with my uncle's family in Biyaya village, Adjumani district. My parents are peasant farmers. I found my previous studies challenging, but through hard work, I achieved good grades.
WHY
I want to contribute to food security in my community by helping them gain access to food and promoting sustainable farming practices to increase the food supply, thus addressing food insecurity. I also plan to encourage the community to engage in both productive agricultural and non-agricultural activities to support their livelihoods. My dream job is to become an agricultural livelihood officer to associate with farmers in my community and help them gain access to resources like finance, land among others. This will also build their relationships with organizations and institutions to improve their livelihoods through access to resources.
INTERESTS
In my free time, I like to relax by taking walks and listening to music, especially after long lectures. I also enjoy reading novels, like "Recipe for Disaster," to improve my vocabulary and enhance my spoken and written English.
