BACKGROUND

I come from a humble background where my mother and older brother supported my education. My brother, a former veterinary officer, initially helped with fees, and my mother contributed through small-scale farming. However,my brother lost his job due to new qualification requirements, impacting our family's finances.

I chose this course because I believe I can make a significant and lasting impact on my community using the skills and knowledge I'll gain. Pharmaceutical sciences focuses on drug development, and I hope to use my understanding of nature to create affordable, accessible medications with fewer side effects. My dream job is to become a pharmaceutical scientist, where I can use my skills and knowledge to create a lasting impact on my community. I believe it offers the opportunity to improve the well-being of people by developing affordable, accessible medicines. My goal is to harness the power of nature to create drugs with fewer side effects that can address common illnesses that significantly affect the lives of individuals in society. Through this work, I aim to contribute to improving health outcomes and making a meaningful difference in my community.

INTERESTS

Outside of my studies, I enjoy practicing agriculture, even on a small scale. In my free time, I also like to read and watch soccer.
