BACKGROUND
I was born in Masasi district and grew up there. I got my primary education in my hometown then I moved for my secondary education. I attended Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology where I majored in ordinary diploma in civil engineering. My family consists of six persons, my parents ,my three siblings and myself. My father is a farmer and my mother is a rice retailer.
WHY Engineering & Natural Science
It is difficult to get job in Tanzania but it become little bit easier when you are a civil engineer because there is a huge choice of sector to work within. For example I can be a teacher, accountant, machine operator etc. Civil engineers improve and protect the environment in which we live. We plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of the building structures and infrastructures such as roads, railways, airports and others.
INTERESTS
I love watching dramas and series. By watching them I am able to learn many things such as different foreign cultures, improving communication skills, decision making skills and problem solving skills.

Help to help is in my life now, I am more motivated to help people in need than I was before, I look at things differently and brainstorm what I should do to change my society. I am now trying to participate in community gatherings, especially in my hometown to give them some new ideas in our daily lives. You’ve been supporting me for all three years both financially and psychologically, you’ve changed my life totally in a positive way. THANK YOU A LOT.

I am doing a project which is very important to my community. It is about the use of natural lime in construction. And if it turn out well then my community will be able to use the method that I will recommend. In the photo, I was at a soil laboratory testing the compressive strength of the lime mortar.

Me together with my fellow beneficiaries we went to visit the kids whose parents can not afford to support their daily basic needs. The reason that made us go there is we wanted the kids to feel that they are loved and they are not alone , they have sisters and brothers who can play with them. We played with them some sports, we took some nice pictures with the kids, we cook for the and we ate together. mostly important is that we advice them to study hard with no worry of missing financial support as help to help foundation is with them when they need help.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Nasra Fundi is a real student?

A: Nasra Fundi has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Nasra Fundi . We have also double-checked the given identity with Mbeya University of Science and Technology. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
