Despite financial challenges that caused a gap in my education, I'm determined to use my degree in agriculture and land use management to improve farming practices in my community.
Despite financial challenges that caused a gap in my education, I'm determined to use my degree in agriculture and land use management to improve farming practices in my community.
BACKGROUND
I'm from a family of eight. My parents are both peasant farmers. After finishing secondary school in 2022 with a second grade and eleven points, I had a gap year due to financial constraints. I'm now studying for my bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Land Use Management at Kabale University.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
I chose this field of study to address societal problems like land, water, and air pollution through the adoption of smart and sustainable agricultural practices. My dream job is to be agriculture consultant so that I can help people to adopt new farming methods like improved agriculture and adopting zero grazing system for more profits to be obtained by the society.
INTERESTS
My interest is on being creative and innovative, making research on internet about current updates in agriculture, making individual discussion with friends, singing and playing football.
