BACKGROUND
I'm one of seven children; four of my siblings finished primary school, two finished secondary school, and I'm the only one at university. My father disappeared when I was very young, so we were raised by our mother. She worked hard, weaving mats and baskets to provide for us.
MY CHOICE OF STUDIES
I'm passionate about studying agriculture, and it's been my best subject since O-level. I'm driven to change the perception and status of agriculture in my community and country. I also appreciate that agriculture is a broad field with many diverse employment opportunities. My dream job is working as an extension officer where i will be sensitizing farmers on better methods of farming.
I will also advise farmers on how to use small plots of land to get better agricultural products that yield high profits.
INTERESTS
I plan to improve my academic performance by participating in group discussions with my classmates. I also intend to gain practical experience by working in the university's agricultural fields.
