BACKGROUND
I'm the seventh of nine children, from a remote village in Rubanda district, Western Uganda. My siblings weren't able to continue their education due to financial constraints, as my mother bears most of the family's responsibilities.
WHY
I chose this field of study because I find it enjoyable and, more importantly, it's vital to the people and government of Uganda, as well as neighboring countries, by improving agricultural output. I'm particularly interested in gaining knowledge about soil improvement and drought control. My dream job is when j finish my studies j come back to my local farmers and teach them modern farming methods and how they can increase on their productivity. Again my dream job is to become agriculture officer on our district level.
INTERESTS
My personal interests include achieving a high level of education, progressing from my degree to a master's and eventually a PhD. I'm also passionate about learning how to conserve the environment and mitigate the negative effects of climate change.

Despite financial hardships that prevented my siblings from accessing education, I'm determined to use my degree in agriculture to empower local farmers with modern methods and improve productivity.
