BACKGROUND
My name is Rayer Jamal Nassoro, and I grew up in a family of five children. Unluckily, my mother and father separated when I was young, thus only my mother took care of us alone. I'm very proud of my mother, because she works hard in order to make us live well and happily. My mother's occupation is being a teacher, but she is retiring this year. Despite the delays of payment of school fees in my previous education, I thank God I am doing well in my studies.
WHY
I chose to study business studies (accounting, economics, and commerce) because I was performing well and I am competent in those studies. Also, I chose this field of study because I want to fulfil my dream job of becoming an auditor. My future profession will help me contribute to my society with skills such as analyzing, auditing books over the account of both public and private firms, and providing financial advice and education. My dream job is to be an auditor. I would like to work in the big fours of auditing companies, which consists of PwC, KPMG, E&Y, and Deloitte. Apart from being an auditor, I would like to be a manager or a chief executive officer in a big company.
INTERESTS
Besides my studies, I want to practice and gain leadership skills. Currently, I am the general secretary of UDTA (University of Dar es salaam Tax Association), and I'm also a general class representative. Secondly, I will be continuing to learn public speaking, Microsoft excel, and drawing and painting pictures in my free time. Lastly, I would like to go swimming and watch movies.
