BACKGROUND
I am the third born of 7 children, raised by both parents in a small village called Rwimi. My dad is a peasant and mom is a housewife. I grew up a humble and respectful kid. My previous education was not bad because I was able to complete my O-level then proceeded to A-level which I also completed very well and then joined university where I am currently.
WHY
I chose my field of study because of the way close interaction and relationship is encouraged between the patient and physiotherapist. This helps the physiotherapist get to know more about his/her patient hence giving better treatment with consideration of the patient's beliefs and fears. My dream job is being one of the best physiotherapists in Uganda and the world at large. As I have a dream of majoring in neuro physiotherapy, I hope to be among the best neuro-physiotherapists.
INTERESTS
I like dancing, visiting friends and hanging out which help me relax my mind. Dancing and hanging out help me meet new people and get to share alot with them which also adds on my exposure to new information and ideas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How can I trust Rebecca Kugonzakwayesu is a real student?

A: Rebecca Kugonzakwayesu has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Rebecca Kugonzakwayesu . We have also double-checked the given identity with Mbarara University. We now and then also do home-visits and met with a majority of our students.

Q: If I donate, what happens with my donation?

A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
