BACKGROUND
I'm the second born child in a family of four children that are three sons and one daughter. My father is a voluntary security guard at the village markets and shops. He is only receiving allowances to sustain a living while my mother is a housewife conducting the household chords, together with engaging in farming activities as we own a small farm for provision of food to the family. We live in Sumbawanga region in Tanzania, I grew up in a family of less privileged income so I studied in government schools since primary level, secondary level and advanced level. Up to now I'm in a public university by the grace of God, and also the help from relatives and friends. In fact, I'm the only child that has been able to reach higher education.
WHY
There are many recurring conflicts between pastoralists/livestock keepers and farmers in our societies, especially in Tanzania. As a ranch manager I'm responsible to resolve those conflicts, to provide education and the production of feeds for livestock, as well as understanding these conflicts and improve production. I would also be able to understand constitutional laws and policies of the government concerning land and agriculture. My dream job is to becoming a manager. I dream of managing a ranch, big hotels or transport services.
INTERESTS
I like socializing with people, to engage in relations and to connect with new people through different contexts. Moreover, I also enjoy to participate in sports and games, entertainment, talent events, leadership and charity. But, most of all, I love playing football.

My plans within the next six months are to get employment either related to my studies or not related to my studies, but which will help me sustain my living and day-to-day activities. I will also be involved in volunteering jobs or organizations. Help to Help scholarship program has impacted my life with so many benefits because I am now a degree holder due to the support I received. I have also learned certain skills through boot camps, such as communication skills, leadership skills, volunteering skills, how to apply for a job, interviews and personal development. I intend to add value to my community as a graduate by sharing knowledge with my community, especially with youths. I will also participate in agricultural activities.

I have helped new joining beneficiaries of Help to Help to familiarise with the university but also other students who weren't able to pay their tuition fee by teaching them about Help to Help. In the photo, I was in Pwani Region during my field practice, it was orientation day learning the history, introduction, staff members and cleaning environment of the Ranch.

This semester I will make sure I increase my experience in work by conducting field practical training away from university. That means in either government or private ranches available in Tanzania, and be awarded with certificate to have a good CV.

In this photo I was at Magadu Training Farm at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro. During my practical sessions I was learning how to remove weeds from desired pasture species.
