BACKGROUND
I am the fifth born among six children in my family. I am living with my mother and grandmother. My mother's occupation is being a peasant, and my grandmother is very old, so she spends most of her time at home. I previously studied my O level at Don Bosco secondary school, and my advanced level at Mwendakulima secondary school.
WHY
What inspired me to choose nursing and midwifery, is being able to care for women during their pregnancy and newborn children. With my future profession, I will help to advise the pregnant women to attend antenatal care for the benefit of their health and their infants. Also, I will help the family members and partners to give full support to the pregnant women. My dream is to care and help people who are in need of health care and support. Also, I want to save and care for the health of pregnant women and their infants, so the mother's can have a safe time when giving birth. I want to educate parents, families and the society on the importance of how to take care of the children, as they are most at risk of diseases and infections.
INTERESTS
I am interested in reading story books and listening music during my free time. Also, I'm enjoy using my free time on the playing ground; playing different games and doing body exercises. I am also interested in making stories and socializing with others during my free time.
