BACKGROUND
My Name is Samson T Mayila. I belong to a single parent family which consists of a mother and seven children; four boys and three girls. We are small peasants in the Kwimba district-Mwanza.
WHY
I chose this field of study since there are so many mines in Tanzania, but we lack enough educated mining engineers that can extract these minerals, rather than the small scale miners and foreigners that do this today. My dream jon is to become a good mining engineer in Tanzania and worldwide, where I can help the community.
INTERESTS
My interests beside my studies are playing football, listening to music, worshiping and doing different jobs that earn me some money.

Here in this photo I was at Geita mineral innovation day with my fellow students during our field practice leaning different issues concerned with mining operations. This semester I want to be perfect in Safety practice in mine and civil works. On doing so I will attend the OSHA training that will be conducted at our University this semester.

A: Samson Mayila has applied for a scholarship from Help to Help and was granted one. We have reviewed the written application and conducted a thorough interview with Samson Mayila . A: Each semester, Help to Help pay school fees for our students. We reserve the right to only pay school fees for students who live up to the agreed terms and conditions for the scholarship which includes submitting grades in time, good academic perform and continuous communication with Help to Help among other things. The payments are done directly to each university. Once payments are done, we demand the universities to send us official receipts.

Q: Why does each student have their own fundraising profile?

A: We believe in a global "we" - our crowdfunding platform is a way for our students to express what societal issues they want to bring change to, and a way for our funders to learn and join their important causes by donating to their studies.
