BACKGROUND
My family lives in Kyanyamunyu village, Muhorro Town council in the Kagadi District. I grew up with both parents until they separated in 2016. I am from a polygamous family with 21 children. My parents are peasant farmers. I went to Muhorro BCS for Primary, Notre Dame Academy for O'level and Mandela for A'level. I am now in Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
WHY Medicine & Health
I want to improve on the knowledge I gained from the project I did in S. 6 of making antibacterial soap and antimalaria candles. I developed the passion for pharmacy because of the need to reduce the rate at which people die of common diseases like malaria and other infections as we have the medicine within our environment. It is through pharmacy that I can get the knowledge of making drugs from the environment. This will make me recommend the less toxic medicine to people, which will improve their lives. My dream job is to become a hospital pharmacist working with the United Nations anywhere around the world. I want to help improve peoples' lives in relation to their health, their standards of living and the establishment of healthy lives.
INTERESTS
I like playing football and listening to music while dancing. I am also a Sunday School teacher because I like being with young children.
