BACKGROUND
My family consists of nine members; my father, mother, and seven children, where I was the third to be born. It's a loving family. My father is a peasant and sometimes he used to fish, and my mother does some homework, and some farm work. I finished my primary school in the year 2011 and then started ordinary level studies in the year 2012 to 2015 at Iterambogo school, where I was helped by relatives and church members. I joined advanced level studies in 2016 to 2018, but I was not able to join university the same year since I couldn't fund my studies, so I had to postpone my studies to 2019 in order to have time to find the money that could pay for my school fees.
WHY
The thing that inspired me to choose this field was the fact that I wanted to help my society and my country. Through this field, I will be able to diagnose, treat and give education on various diseases and health problems present in my society. Also, through the course, I will be able to give out my views and results concerning various problems in society, especially within the issue of infections. My dream job is to become a laboratory scientists and a biotechnologist. This job will help me play a part in diagnosing various diseases, and also perform various research which can help society.
INTERESTS
Outside my studies I usually do my prayers. I also play basketball, and I enjoy reading books and looking at different news on the Internet about science. I also like drawing.
