BACKGROUND
l was born in 1988 at Tabora Region. I am the last born in a family of four children, we are two boys and two girls. My father is a retired pastor and he is now aged. My mother used to do small business activities but her legs are now too weak. For the last few years I have been living with my brother who was a Pastor in Mennonite Church. Until now he has been the one who supported me financially so that I could study. Unfortunately, he is now disabled due to a terrible road accident, which he faced in 2013. He is still in bed recovering from hip and shoulder relocation and can’t work or do anything. We sold both my parents and brothers farm in order to pay for my studies but that only covered the first two years. For the first semester of my third year I managed to get some help from a friend but now I am stranded. I am a humble person who would like people to live in harmony. I am not easily upset, I do not react to small things. My friends say I have a good sense of humor and that I am very polite.
WHY Medicine & Health
I dream of becoming a pediatrician so that l can help and assure the good health for children and their mothers. Children and their mothers are too often dying. I believe a good pediatrician needs to be tolerant and willing to become familiar with the children so that they accept you.
INTERESTS
I like singing, watching adventure movies like ‘’The Hunger Games’’ and participating in scientific conferences.
