BACKGROUND

I am a man of 25 years from Njombe, Tanzania - a certain district called Wanging’ombe. However I recently started studying at Bulongwa Health Science Institute, a Diploma of Dental Therapist. I am a second born of Mr.Nody Kawogo and Mrs.Lena Mbembath. Within our family we are five children and only one of us is a girl. My sister completed secondary school and is now waiting for university or college. Two of my siblings are still studying at primary level and my third brother is temporary employed as a teacher but without an education. My parents are peasants who grow crops like beans, potatoes and maize and they get approximately get 500 000 TZS (2000 SEK) per year. Until I reached to where I am today, I faced a lot of challenges. Firstly when I was in advanced level of secondary school I sometimes missed several periods of studies because of failure to pay the school fees on time. Unfortunately, I never got my academic certificate from that school since I did not manage to finalize the payments. My parents have a lot of debts from different organizational groups since they lent money to enable me to study. I am a student who believes in becoming successful through working hard. My dreams is to become independent and to be an important person within my society, a person who will provide help to others. I like to be exposed to new things and different ways of thinking. I am a kind person who like socializing with my fellow friends and others.

My dream job is to be a specialist of oral diseases like oral cancers and to have my own dental clinic. I am using my time effectively to study hard so as to achieve my dreams.

INTERESTS

I prefer to do sports and games during my spare time, mostly football. I am good in playing and I have even been awarded a certificate as the best player in our college.
