BACKGROUND
I was born and grew in Moshi Rural district located in Kilimanjaro region, in Tanzania. I went to primary and secondary school in Moshi Rural district, in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. My parents live in Moshi Rural district, in Kilimajaro, Tanzania. They are peasants engaged in agricultural based activities.
WHY
The main and primary reason as to why I chose the field of medicine is to save lives through applying the principles and procedures of medicine to prevent, diagnose, care for and treat patients with illness, disease and/or injury thereby maintaining their physical and mental health. Providing health education and creating awareness to the community is a part of my responsibility from now. Becoming a medical doctor is my dream. Since my childhood I found science interesting and dreamed of becoming a Medical doctor. I have also seen so many people suffering and helping them is what gives meaning as to why I was born ( I feel that way). Being a doctor might be really difficulty, however I have to do whatever it takes to become a doctor, so that I can help those who are suffering from different health related problems.
INTERESTS
I usually spend my time volunteering in the school where I got my secondary education (Ordinary Level Education), teaching them and more importantly inspiring them to maintain their focus in education. Apart from volunteering, I often spend much time with my parents during long holidays thereby supporting them in the activities of their daily living. I always feel safe and happy with them. The funnest thing I like is riding and racing motorcycle, however I am scared of motorcycle itself. Not only that, I am interested in swimming but again I am scared of the sea depth.

Most of my time this semester will be spent in clinical rotations due to time schedule, however my attendance in the clinical rotations will not impede me from attaining other skills that will help me to secure a job. So far I have planned to attend training workshops that are to be held within our college and even outside the region where time and other factors are feasible. Not only attending the workshops but also online learning about computer skills, all of which are key foundation to add values in my profile, putting me in a more secure place.
