I chose to study this field because I was inspired to help my community to treat those who now pass away because of the lack of professional doctors in my nation.
My dream is to become a surgeon to reduce mortality rates and improve the health standards of Uganda. The low number of surgeons leads patients not being treated or referred to foreign hospitals they cannot afford.
I like playing football during my free time and this has helped me to stay healthy and strong. I like carrying out discussion during my free time and this has helped me to improve performance in my academics.
Laboratory is among my dream field because since I was a child I like catching insects and organisms and trying to take care of them, so as to know their surviving mechanisms.
I will help in contributing to the society on why trees are very important by providing education on afforestation, reforestation and agroforestry practices.
The thing that inspired me the most is how the tourism industry is important for the country's development and contributes much to the growth of the economy
In the future I can help them to understand the importance of preserving personal hygiene and taking medication after running laboratory diagnosis and by prescription from a medical doctor.
I chose biomedical engineering because it involves a lot of creativity, innovation all aimed at saving and making human lives better. I also received a lot of carrier guidance from former school, teachers and mentors and hence i made a decision to pursue it.
I want to support and inspire other youths in focusing on their dreams by studying hard and participating in activities to bring development to Tanzania.
